Ingredients
4 Tbsp. Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Tsp. Salt (or more to taste)
1 Pound Whole Pecans
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
In a pan, melt the butter with the brown sugar and salt on top. Stir while melting: a smooth, shiny, and fully incorporated texture is desired.
Step 3
Place pecans in a metal bowl. When the mixture is fully melted and incorporated, pour over the pecans, and stir until every pecan is well coated.
Step 4
Pour coated pecans onto a metal baking tray. Put into oven for 5 minutes, then remove and stir the pecans on the tray. This moves the outside pecans to the center, and vice versa, to ensure even baking. Bake for 5 more minutes, then stir again. Add a few extra minutes if needed!
