About the Recipe
An irresistible pie that is guaranteed to please, right from the recipe card of my sweet Aunt Wanda.

Ingredients
1 (15 ounce) can Libby's 100% pumpkin puree
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
3⁄4 cup granulated sugar
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1⁄2 teaspoon ground ginger
1⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 (12 ounce) can Carnation Evaporated Milk
1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie pastry shell with high fluted edge - Check out this dish on Amazon!
whipped cream (optional)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Mix all ingredients for filling in order given.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees for an additional 45 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack for 2 hours before serving.
Tip: Bake on the day that you plan to serve to keep the crust from getting soggy.
PRO Tip: Bake in a glass or stoneware pie to help prevent the soggy bottom crust!
